Still waiting for the garden to kick into high gear! I have yet to have any zucchini or cucumbers! My cucumbers all seem to be dying. The cucumber beetles didn't seem too bad, but I guess bad enough to kill my cukes!
Decided to check in the potato tubs this week and see if there was anything in there. These were all I could reach. So, at least there is something growing in there.
Kennebec Potatoes and basil |
Arkansas Traveler tomatoes, they don't seem much bigger than a cherry tomato so far. And some beans and raspberries. |
Chard, basil, beans. |
Not a huge harvest this week, but still good. Click on over to Daphne's Dandelions to see what else is being harvested this week!
Yum, fresh corn and tomatoes. Sounds like great harvests.
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone. I have no zucchini or cucumbers either. At least you have potatoes, but dummy Granny didn't plant any this year. I sure do miss my freshly dug potatoes!
ReplyDeleteThose potatoes look just perfect. I keep hoping my potatoes will get done soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the beans! How are you going to cook them?
ReplyDeleteThank you all!
ReplyDeleteFor the beans, I usually steam them, except the purple ones because my daughter wants to eat them PURPLE! Ha ha!
It looks like it won't be long until your garden kicks into high gear! Boy that corn looks good to me...yum!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love how your daughter likes to eat her beans PURPLE!! Great harvest!
ReplyDeleteEnvious of your corn and tomatoes - we have neither of those nor cukes or zukes.... just a really delayed summer season for us. Eventually they will get a move on.
ReplyDeleteWonderful harvest! I am so excited for our corn this year! And I'm completely jealous of your corn and your tomatoes (already)!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely varieties of beans! Your chard leaves are big. I wish I have tomatoes too...the big ones refuse to turn red when its winter now.
