Harvest Monday 6/10/13

It is my favorite time of the week. Harvest Monday at Daphne's Dandelions! I am sure the harvests are full of new goodies this week! I know mine has a couple!
The first All Blue new potatoes.

The lettuce pickings are getting thin.

Last of the Pak Choi

I ate most of these strawberries. They were just too good to share!

First of the Blue Podded Blauwschokker peas!

My daughter is already scarfing them down. They won't last.

View of the NE Garden. There will soon be squash and cucumbers and raspberries. I am impatiently awaiting!

View of the SW garden.
Happy Harvesting!

    1. Seems that way! Might get worse as summer grows on! We love purplish things around here! My daughter will eat almost anything purple. If only I could grow everything PINK! We'd be set!

  3. Your garden is looking so lush and absolutely gorgeous! I've not yet been brave enough to grow blue vegetables, as I know Mr. Granny would balk at eating them. They are supposed to be really good for you though, very high in antioxidants.

  4. The Blauwschokker peas are beautiful, an old Dutch variety. My garden neighbor (who was born in Holland) grew those last year.

  6. Us gardeners can't help but be impatient! I think I should have names my blog "The Impatient Gardener"! I have never had blue potatoes! Are they white inside. Those peas sure do look good and I don't blame the kids for eating them on you!! Nancy

    1. The potatoes are All blue, inside and out! Yummy roasted with some oil and seasonings kind of like breakfast potatoes.
Those peas were grown in my daughters garden pot, so, they are all hers! Though I have encouraged her to share!

    1. I haven't actually had one yet. They came from my daughters pot and she is being quite selfish with them. This is ok by me, it is vegetables!
