  5. I agree with everyone else. That corn is great. Is it for fresh eating or is it popcorn?

    1. It is SE sweet corn. It is a bit lighter than it could be, but from what I have read it might be sweeter blush colored than red.

  6. You have a great harvest this week! I am envious of those two nice green peppers as my peppers are a complete bust this year! I planted pole beans and I saw one bean growing tonight when I was out! The beetles have really eaten them. I planted some old yellow bean seed and it came up so will see what happens! Yours looks delicious! Nancy

  8. A great looking harvest this week. I love the corn and it makes me a bit jealous. We didn't plant any corn this year so the only corn we will bet will come from the farmers market. :(

  9. As everyone has said, that corn is gorgeous. You had a great harvest this week! I am also loving the sunflowers, they remind me I have a packet of seeds I should get in the ground.

    1. Burpee says that it should, but it does lose some of the color. There is still some after cooking. DD loves the color!

  11. Looking at the corn, I thought at first it was pop corn. Definitely attractive, I wonder why the farm stands around here don't grow it. I definitely would buy it if I saw it.
