Do you freeze the raspberries? My kids love eating frozen raspberries and I have to admit to being rather partial to them myself.Lizhttp://www.suburbantomato.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5359754378556979145.post-82404660668202336792012-09-04T00:41:33.024-04:002012-09-04T00:41:33.024-04:00It's hard to believe that anyone could get tir...It's hard to believe that anyone could get tired of home grown raspberries! I wish I could grow enough for that to happen. I'm just getting the first tomatoes also, they are always late here though, It doesn't seem to matter when I plant them, September is the first real harvest.Michellehttp://fromseedtotable.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5359754378556979145.post-91061371636289131962012-09-03T23:32:21.622-04:002012-09-03T23:32:21.622-04:00I'll bet your glad to see some tomatoes. Celebrity's are a hybrid and they aren't at all stable. Usually the second generation of a Celebrity is just a large cherry tomato. So I'll bet you had some fruit leave behind some seeds last year and that's what you got. You have a nice variety of harvest. Wish we were still getting that many raspberries! Never too many. What we don't eat I freeze for pies or just in containers to add a little sugar either then or later to eat with a sandwich. Even tho you don't have much lettuce growing it sure looks good what you picked! W...Hurrah for the arrival of the tomato harvests! We are getting an occassional ripe tomato (have been for a long while now), but the main crop is still very green right now. Not late with them, but our July was quite cool which caused blossom drop and so the flush of tomatoes was shifted out a full month - bad news for a growing region that is not known for it's warmth and often has cloudy/overcast conditions. (sigh) Oh well, we will take what we can get. :DkitsapFGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06120640838501186514noreply@blogger.com
